When the hugely popular gaming event TwitchCon Europe was held at Berlin’s Messe from 13th – 14th April 2019, World Class Events was on hand to help long-standing client, Freeman EMEA with the technical delivery of the project. The TwitchCon events include an Expo hall, industry and community-driven panel sessions held in a purpose-built theatre, meet-and-greets with top streamers, along with Twitch Rivals and other zones.
World Class Events, managing director, John Adkins worked closely with the Freeman EMEA team on the ground, taking on the role of project director. He was supported by senior project manager, Brian Gowen, project manager, David Ott and event safety and security consultant, Chris Woodford.
Freeman EMEA was appointed to deliver the Expo element of TwitchCon Europe, where it led on the scenic installations. The World Class Events’ team also worked with US based, AV supplier ETS who delivered the Twitch theatre and European suppliers Creative Technology and Satis &Fy who were creating the Twitch Rivals and other visitor zones
Despite World Class Events global experience and reputation, this was the first event that the company had delivered in Germany.
